Kalki 2898 AD is doing great business, especially in Hindi. After smashing 108 crores in the first four-day weekend, the film surprised everyone on Monday by dropping just 25% from its first day with collections of around 16 crores.
Tuesday was expected to be steady with another 10% drop. But it seems Kalki 2898 AD has fallen more than expected on Tuesday in Hindi.
According to early estimates, the film collected 13 crores on Tuesday, a drop of almost 20% from Monday. The collections are still good, but the trend might be a little concerning.
The total six-day collections of Kalki 2898 AD in Hindi are approximately Rs 137 crores. It seems the extended 8-day first week of Kalki would be somewhere around 158-160 crores in Hindi.
Kalki 2898 AD should remain in double digits on Friday to cross 200 crores by the end of its second weekend.
It will be interesting to see where Kalki 2898 AD will end its run in Hindi. As of now, the 250-crore mark looks like a sureshot and will earn the tag of Hit/Superhit in the Bollywood trade. It can earn the blockbuster tag if it can touch 300 crores which looks difficult as of now.
