While we were still left wondering why Kamal Haasan is doing movie after movie even after launching his political party, keeping his political aspirations aside, once again he surprised us with the revelation that the sequel of ‘Kshatriya Puthrudu’ that we thought would be ‘Kshatriya Puthrudu 2’. It’s going to be a different title.

The title ‘Kshatriya Puthrudu’ ‘Devar Magan’ (Tamil original’s title) refers to a particular community in Tamil Nadu. As Kamal Haasan claims that he is against the caste system, he doesn’t want to use a title that is caste-based. Well, it’s his movie and he can do as he likes. But, the audiences will only be able to connect with the sequel with the help of the title. Otherwise, they may come to the theatres expecting a different story.
Kamal Haasan also has another surprising news for us. He will not necessarily stop doing movies, at all. While we were expecting him to lunge into full-time politics, the Universal Star’s response to continuing work in films will only dilute his political ambitions as he has to postpone the political activities when he is busy in films.
