From Kamal Haasan, audiences got ‘Uttama Villain’ recently. His fans are eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and ‘Paapanasam’. Though no update is available on ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ release date, finally one can see recent posters of ‘Paapanasam’ doing rounds with the release date.

As per the recent posters, ‘Paapanasam’ is going to come in theatres on 3rd July. We know ‘Paapanasam’ is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie ‘Drishyam’. This movie is also remade in Hindi retaining the same title. Action hero Ajay Devgan is playing a family man while Shreya Saran and Tabu are playing his wife and Inspector General of Police respectively.
Ajay’s ‘Drishyam’ has been locked for 31st July since long. But Kamal’s movie release date is the latest decision. It means, Kamal is going to come approximately 4 weeks prior to Ajay Devgan. Given to his pan-Indian image, one can easily guess that even Bollywood audiences would be interested in Kamal’s movie. Would this kill Ajay’s ‘Drishyam’ indirectly? Got to wait and see.
