Monday BO Test: AK47 And Cult Crash Badly!

AK-47 and Cult Monday box office collections

One of the crucial indicators of the potential lifetime performance of any film is based on the kind of revenue that you can post on its first working Monday.

In the case of two of the recently released in Telugu films, AK-47 and Cult, it appears that both of these films have failed this test miserably.

Adarsha Kutumbam, which has nearly ₹65 crore theatrical business earned around ₹4 on its first Monday(yesterday) and this is a concerning number. A lot more potential was placed on this film, considering the combination of Venkatesh and Trivikram.

Ideally, even a reasonably good film from Trivikram would have worked very well for this film during Diwali weekend. A lot of potential has been wasted with lazy writing and ordinary work from the iconic director.

Then we have the case of Cult, which happens to be one of the ambitious attempts from Vishwak Sen, who appeared to be very confident about this project in the first place.

This film had crashed on the opening day itself, and it did not show any signs of resurgence over the weekend and completely went out of the picture on the Monday itself.

It is time for Vishwak to seriously reconsider his choices and make sure that his upcoming filmography shows good potential or else things could go out of bound even worse than now.
