Kantara showcased the story of believers of local deity in North Karnataka. The traditions and cultural tribute have struck a chord with everyone that it became a huge blockbuster. Now, Hombale Films, the producer, and Rishab Shetty, the writer-actor-director are bringing eagerly awaited prequel, Kantara Chapter 1. NTR has attended as chief guest to Hyderabad pre-release event of the film.
Rishab Shetty spoke in Kannada and stated that he always admired Telugu stars and NTR is like his family member, now. He stated that he is happy to be in presence of such a humble, grounded big star. He requested audiences to watch Kantara Chapter 1 in theatres, only.
NTR spoke well highly about Rishab Shetty. He stated that he used to wonder listening to his grandmother’s stories about Guilga Deva and Panjruli. He stated that when he saw them on big screen, he got fascinated by the way, Rishab presented them. He further shared that he never saw a person like Rishab Shetty in film industry.
He complimented Rishab stating that he has command on 24 crafts. Giving an example about the dedication Rishab Shetty and his team have put in, he said, “When I went to Udupi Krishna temple with my mother, Rishab also took me to another ancient temple which is in the middle of the water. I couldn’t believe that for shooting there, they specially erected roads.”
NTR continued to say that such dedication and commitment are rare to find in any film production but Rishab Shetty and Hombale Films have made it possible. He remarked Kantara Chapter 1 as a memorable cinematic spectacle and asked audiences to experience it in theatres. The movie is being released by Mythri Movie Makers in Telugu and it is releasing on 2nd October.
