Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has directly sprung in to action to solve the ongoing power crisis in the state. There is already a deficit of power in the state added to it, the monsoons failure has stalled the production of Hydro electricity leading to acute shortage of power. KCR had ordered his officials to explore all possibilities to solve the problem and get power at any cost.
KCR himself is likely to visit Chhattisgarh in a couple of days to personally talk with his counterpart Raman Singh to discuss the possibility of purchasing power from that state. This is the first time a chief minister will be visiting a neighbouring state to solve the power crisis. KCR is ready to lay dedicated power line if at Chhattisgarh accepts to sign a long term deal with Telangana.
