Telangana government had began land scouting for KCR’s dream scheme which is aimed to distribute three acres of land to each of poor dalit fa mily who depend on agriculture and other allied sectors such as horticulture, sericulture, fisheries, animal husbandry.

The government had given orders to the district collectors to purchase land from general public by inviting applications. Government wants to purchase land at the cost of 2 lakh-Rs 7 lakh per acre in the nine districts of Telangana except Hyderabad.
Landless dalits will be given three acres in the first phase and in the next phase, having less than three acres would be given enough to raise their land holding to three acres.
