Yash and Kiara Advani are coming together for the highly anticipated Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The Geetu Mohandas directorial has already created considerable buzz, and Yash recently opened up about an interesting experience from the film’s shoot involving Kiara.
Speaking at the film’s audio launch in Mumbai, Yash revealed that Kiara was pregnant while shooting for Toxic. He said both he and director Geetu Mohandas were extremely concerned about her well-being and took extra care of her on the sets.
Yash jokingly said that he and Geetu practically turned into “bouncers and bodyguards” for Kiara during the shoot.
Recalling his first interaction with Kiara, Yash said she was always extremely professional and committed to the film. He admitted that he initially had some concerns because the role demanded a lot from the actress.
Yash recalled Kiara asking him whether he had ever done a rain sequence before. He casually replied that he had not, but felt it would be easy. Things changed once he learned that Kiara was pregnant.
According to Yash, despite her pregnancy, Kiara continued to report to the sets with complete commitment. In fact, he said that he and Geetu were more worried about her than she was about herself.
The actor added that they constantly remained around Kiara like bouncers or bodyguards to ensure that she was safe and comfortable during the shoot. Despite the challenges, Yash praised her dedication and said her commitment to the film was remarkable.
Yash also thanked Kiara for being part of the project and described Toxic as a very special film.
