Tragic: Director Dies Before Release of Comeback Film

Young director Kiran Kumar, known for his film Kedi, passed away on Wednesday. His sudden demise has come as a shock to the Telugu Film Industry. He was working on his comeback film at the time of his death.

His last directorial project was KJQ King Jackie Queen, for which shooting had already been completed. The film is currently in the post production stage. Sadly, Kiran Kumar did not live to see the release of the film.

Kiran Kumar came into the spotlight after directing Nagarjuna in his debut film Kedi, which was released in 2010. On several occasions, he credited Nagarjuna for giving him his first major break in the industry.

Before turning director, Kiran Kumar had assisted legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam. He worked as an associate director on several of Mani Ratnam’s films, gaining valuable experience and industry recognition.

Apart from direction, Kiran Kumar also appeared as an actor. He played a CBI officer in Vijay Anthony’s Bhadrakali, a role that received attention and praise. Many expected to see him act in more films.

After a long gap, Kiran Kumar returned to direction with KJQ King Jackie Queen. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed. The Telugu Film Industry continues to mourn the untimely loss of the young filmmaker.
