Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti managed to convince opposition MLC candidates in five seats and made them withdraw their nominations, thus bagged the seats unanimously. Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram who was a big vocal support to TRS before the elections, expressed his displeasure with the defections and the way of MLC lections.

He did not name TRS directly but took potshots on the ruling party’s behaviour. “Any party should not be doing this. This will only lead to political instability. Old methods are being employed in the new state”, Kodandaram said to media.
Saying TRS is employing the same old methods in the United State will be very uncomfortable for KCR as he and the party claims to be change crusaders for Telangana. But then, thats how things are going on at the moment.
