Kona Venkat’s ‘Shankarabharanam’ postponed its release to December giving space for Akhil’s debut movie for which Kona penned the script. Speaking at the audio launch event of his film on Friday evening, Kona confidently says that his movie doesn’t need a festive day, whenever it releases it will be a festival.

Coming to the choice of Nikhil as hero, Kona says that right from the time he conceived the character of Goutham, Nikhil was his first choice. Several heroes asked him for Nikhil’s role and those actors who didn’t act in the film will feel like they missed this great film says very confident Kona.
So far, the buzz on the film and the talk on the trailers and the songs is encouraging. Going by the speech of Kona, his confidence might even seem a bit of over confidence. But let’s hope that whether it’s confidence or over confidence, that will not let him down when the film releases.
