Kothapallilo Okappudu, a rural satirical romcom, presented by Rana Daggubati, is receiving good critical acclaim. Manoj Chandra, Monika T, Usha Bonela, Ravindra Vijay, Banerjee are receiving praises for their roles and performances. Paruchuri Praveena, who produced C/O Kancherapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, made her directorial debut with this one.
Now, the makers have conducted Thank You Meet. At the event, Manoj Chandra and Usha Bonela performed, danced on stage. Paruchuri Praveena stated that she is happy with the critical acclaim and she started casting call on social media. She received Usha Bonela’s reply on Instagram and cast her for her dancing skills.
Also, she stated that she needs to work to earn enough money to produce a film. Hence, there have been some difficulties in completing production and had been forced to finish shooting in 33 days. She stated that she is happy with the final output and with the critical acclaim it is receiving.
She stated that success of indie films like C/O Kancherapalem, Kothapallilo Okappudu will be a big boon to newcomers. She requested audiences to further support and encourage indie filmmakers like her by watching such content oriented films in theatres. Manoj Chandra and Usha Bonela also thanked audiences for their support.
