Kothapallilo Okappudu, a rural entertainer with a quirky edge, marks the directorial debut of Praveena Paruchuri. Presented by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media and produced under the Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts banner, the film is set to hit screens on July 18th. The film’s trailer is out now.
The story revolves around Rama Krishna, a spirited young man who is in love with a beautiful girl named Savitri. But when she calls him to a quiet meeting, what starts as a sweet romantic gesture quickly spirals into something far more enigmatic.
The film stars Manoj Chandra and Monika T as the endearing lead pair, supported by a strong ensemble including Praveena Paruchuri, Usha Bonela, Ravindra Vijay, and Benerjee. Director Praveena Paruchuri, working from a story written by Gurukiran Bathula, promises a mix of grounded humor and unexpected plot turns.
The cinematography is by Petros Antoniadis, while the score by Varun Unni. With the promise of a village tale that’s both heart-warming and intriguingly offbeat, Kothapallilo Okappudu is set for its release in nearly one week.
