KTR is heading to watch The Paradise tonight, and there is an obvious reason why this particular screening carries some extra curiosity.
Nani and Srikanth Odela’s film features Priyadarshi as MLA Shankaranna, a character whose look, mannerisms and political presence bear a clear resemblance to former Telangana Chief Minister KCR. The film does not explicitly name KCR, but the inspiration is difficult to miss.
Now, KCR’s son KTR is reportedly set to watch the film tonight.
That makes this more than a routine celebrity movie outing. The Paradise has already put that political character into its fictional world, and KTR will now get to see the portrayal on the big screen.
The interesting part is that there is no need to predict what KTR might say. His response, if he chooses to share one, would naturally attract attention because of the character’s obvious connection to his father.
For Nani and the team, this is an unusual situation where a fictional character inspired by a real political figure gets viewed by someone from that figure’s own family.
Tonight’s screening could therefore add an unexpected KTR chapter to The Paradise story.
