Kaaka is nearing the finish line, but the interesting part is that Thaman has already started working on the film’s background score. The first half has been completed, while around 30% of the second half is also done. Only about 20% of the overall shoot remains.
With the remaining shoot still underway, Thaman has begun the re-recording work for the first half. The team is therefore moving into post-production without waiting for the entire shoot to wrap.
That early RR work could be particularly important for Kaaka, which is being positioned as a Chiranjeevi mass entertainer. Thaman’s score will have to carry plenty of weight in the action and elevation portions, and getting started early gives the team time to fine-tune the sound.
More than the numbers, Chiranjeevi‘s confidence in the film is adding to the buzz. His latest update suggests that he is happy with the way Kaaka is shaping up as the film moves into its final phase.
With only a small portion of the shoot left, Bobby Kolli’s film is steadily heading towards its Sankranthi 2027 release on January 13.
