Vijay Deverakonda is celebrating his birthday today. On the occasion, the first song from his upcoming film, Kushi, Na Roja Nuvve has been unveiled.
The song is a pleasant and soothing melody with the music composer Hesham’s cool and breezy vocals. He previously worked on Malayalam film Hridayam and has carried the freshness to Kushi now.
The song depicts the love the protagonist, Vijay has towards his love interest, Samantha. The lyrics are penned by the director Siva Nirvana himself and he has also choreographed the same.
The visuals in the lyrical video are also pleasing to the eye. The lovely vibe between Vijay and Sam in Kashmir backdrop is good to watch.
The song might take time to grow on its listeners but it sure has freshness that has good appeal. It will get better with repeated listenings.
Also, there’s the extensive usage of Mani Ratnam’s film titles like Geethanjali, Ok Bangaram, Roja, and others, which is again a bold statement given that the former is a master of love dramas. Has Kushi drawn inspiration from the same and be on similar lines?
Kushi is a love drama featuring Vijay and Sam in the lead roles and is directed by Siva Nirvana. The film is funded by Mythri Movie Makers and it is releasing in the 1st of September.
