At a time when every elite league filmmaker in Telugu cinema set sight on pan Indian cinema, Trivikram looked the other way. While the likes of Rajamouli, Sukumar and Koratala were aiming at the pan Indian market, Trivikram took it easy.
It looked like Trivikram wasn’t entirely excited or interested in pan Indian cinema and was comfortable with films like Ala Vaikunthapurramulo and Guntur Kaaram.
The end result is that Trivikram has become the last choice for all the elite league stars in Telugu cinema.
The top five, namely Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun, and Mahesh Babu are all occupied with other projects.
Perhaps, Bunny might be the only hero who could be ready to work with Trivikram and this could also be because his proposed film with Atlee fell apart.
Either way, the extreme delay in catching up with the pan Indian game has come back to haunt Trivikram now as he is no longer the primary choice for the big stars.
Trivikram has also been working on setting projects for Pawan which might be making him a substantial amount of money. But for a reputed filmmaker like him, directing films continually is paramount but that isn’t happening with him now.
As things stand, Allu Arjun who hasn’t locked a project after Pushpa 2 could be the only saving grace for Trivikram at this point in time.
