All of Lucky Bhaskar, Ka, and Amaran had a rather middling run. As per reports, none of these films could break open and punch beyond the threshold point as the festival audience didn’t necessarily flock to the theaters.
It appears that the lack of mad rush from the Diwali audience meant that all the new releases had to settle with non-blockbuster numbers.

This again points to the trend where the audience is only ready to flock to theaters big time if they have a big hero film in the offing, as was seen in the case of Devara.
This Diwali has been a rather strange one as all the films opened to a good enough word of mouth but none could go beyond the threshold point and breakthrough.
Of the said films, Lucky Bhaskar reported the bigger revenues while Ka could give some sort of a respite to Kiran who has been reeling under pressure. Amaran too did some decent numbers in Telugu. Kannada’s Bhageera was a washout here.
