In what can be termed as a surprising development, Sunil Narang has resigned as the President of the Telangana film Chamber of commerce.

This resignation has come a day after his third consecutive election for the Presidentship has been announced in a Press Meet.

The cause of this resignation is also in the same Press Meet. The newly elected general secretary VL Sreedhar made some sensational comments which have become headache for Sunil Narang.

Speaking about the ongoing theatre crisis, Sreedhar said to producers and two directors are behind misleading Pawan Kalyan on this issue. He announced that very soon he would announce those names and give them a return gift.

In the same press meet, Sreedhar also came really hard on a hero who could not even deliver it to crore share with his last film, but the producers are offering him 13 Crore remuneration.

Sunil Narang, who was sitting right beside Sreedhar, was shocked by the comment about a hero during the same press meet. On multiple occasions, Sunil Narang tried to pacify the heroes and distance himself from those comments.

Apparently, a section in the film industry started accusing that Sunil Narang got the heroes badmouth by sitting just beside Sreedhar.

The two producers whom Sreedhar referred to are the active producers who are making majority of films between them. There is also a worry that the return gift comment will not go well with them and they may not give their films to Dil Raju – Sunil – Suresh Babu’s Syndicate.

It should be reminded To readers that Sunil Narang was also initially on the side of the percentage system, but once the active producers looked like going towards Mythri in Nizam Sunil Narang backed off.

Sunil Narang was afraid that this would damage his relations with the heroes producers and directors, which is not good for his business, so he chose to resign as Telangana film chamber of commerce president, which is more of a honorary position.
 
In his resignation letter, Sunil Narang, mentioned that he cannot allow his name or reputation to be associated with comments that he did not make or did not approve off.
