Talks have been going on for some time now, but it is finally and officially confirmed today that Telugu film Maaya is going to be remade in Hindi. What’s more, it will be part of the Murder series produced by the Bhatt’s and will reportedly be called as Murder 4.

Murder is a huge series in Bollwyood made popular initially by Emraan Hashmi. The films in the series are not sequels but independent one’s that have nothing in common. For the most recent part the makers replaced Emraan with another actor so it needs to be seen if the same trend will continue for this new part in the series or not. Maaya was a thriller directed by Neelakantha and its theme of Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) seems to be the deal breaker for the Bollywood remake.
