Director CV Kumar created a fantasy world called Maayavan, and the second movie from the universe is in the making right now with Sundeep Kishan playing the lead. AK Entertainment is bankrolling the project which had its first look launched a few days ago.
The teaser which was released just a while ago opens by showing a science lab at a secluded location. One of the biggest experiments that is under trial at the lab is brain transfer. The teaser also introduces Sundeep Kishan, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh’s characters.
MaayaOne is projected as a Sci-Fi Action Drama. Neil Nitin Mukesh is the right choice as the Antagonist.
Brain Transfer is an interesting concept and can be very impactfully used to make a novel story.
The initial portions introduce the concept of Brain Transfer and slowly moves towards the Hero X Villain clash angle.
A little more elaboration about Brain Transfer would have made it more exciting.
At the end, we feel in the teaser, there is more about the clash than the Sci-Fi part which should be the USP of the film. But we can arrive at conclusions only after watching the Trailer.
The trailer should also give more insight into the Sets and the VFX part of the film that is very important for Sci-Fi films.
These are times when audience are seeking different films like this. Sundeep Kishan made the right choice. The idea definitely looks exciting and there is promise as well.
If mounted rightly, it will be the big break Sundeep Kishan has been waiting for a long time.
