This week’s release MAD, written and directed by Kalyan Shankar, is touted to be a fun and youthful film centered around college students. The main cast includes Narne Nithin, Ram Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, and Ananathika Sanilkumar.
The film is being presented by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who is very confident that it will make a strong impression on the audience. He has expressed this confidence in various promotional events for the movie. The trailer of the film was received well by its target audience and has raised some curiosity.
The film could work in a big way only if the content clicks with the youth. Just like the recent Kannada film Hostel Huduguru Bekagiddare, if the film impresses the college audience, their word-of-mouth will take the film to the next level. That film was owned by the audience which made it such a big success.
If the audience relates to the language, tone, situations, jokes, gags, and dialogues of the film then the film can travel a long way at the box office.
However, if it turns out to be a mid or an average watch which just some of the episodes working, then the target audience (youth) might not own it.
