Mahendragiri Varahi, starring Sumanth, has created interest among audiences with a promotional campaign. While the teaser, songs and trailer have been released, the makers also installed Goddess Varahi idols at selected theatres as part of the film’s offline publicity. Now, they have conducted a pre-release event with Akhil Akkineni and Siddhu Jonnalagadda as special guests.
A crowd attended the event. At the event, Siddhu Jonnalagadda stated that he and producer Madhu Kalipu have known each other for a long time. Hence, he did a cameo in the film. He appreciated director Santhosh Jagarlapudi for writing that scene and wished for the film to become a success.
Akhil Akkineni stated that he used to go to Sumanth for things that he couldn’t discuss with his parents. He said Sumanth always encouraged and supported him. So, he came to the event to share his happiness with him. He said, “Mahendragiri Varahi is Today’s Cinema. Today’s cinema is not a commercial film but content film that gives audiences a different feel. This film will definitely impress audiences in theatres and it will be a huge blockbuster. Let’s meet up in success event.”
Sumanth stated that he and Santossh have worked on the script and film for three years. They did not have a producer who could mount it on the level it needed, and they found Madhu and Laxman. He thanked them, along with Aishwarya Rajesh and Siddhu Jonnalagadda, for being part of the film. He stated that the movie is carrying the divine blessing of Goddess Varahi and expressed confidence in its success. Mahendragiri Varahi is releasing on 11th September, worldwide.
