Teja Sajja addressed the rumours during a media interaction in Chennai, where journalists were eager to know about Mahesh in Mirai. He clarified that Mahesh Babu did not play Lord Rama. He admitted it would have been amazing if Mahesh had taken the role but confirmed it was not true. The actor’s identity remains undisclosed until the release, keeping the curiosity alive.

It is worth recalling that Mahesh Babu was once approached for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. However, Ranbir Kapoor was finalised for the role, leaving MB fans disappointed. The speculation around Mirai has revived those discussions, adding to the excitement over the mystery.

Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, Mirai is set for a grand release on September 12. The film stars Teja Sajja, with Manchu Manoj as the villain, alongside Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, and Shriya Saran in important roles. The closing shot featuring Lord Rama has intensified the buzz, making fans more eager to watch the film on the big screen.
