Sudha Kongara‘s writing team asked about not including a couple of scenes between Suriya and Aparna Balamurali only because Suriya is a star. But, Sudha Kongara being the head of the writing team, insisted that the scenes must be included.
She observed that like Suriya’s character in ‘Soorarai Pottru’, there are many writers, artists and other technicians who have taken several years to prove themselves and all the while, their wives supported them as the breadwinners of the family.
