Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s film ‘Kasaba’ has released in theaters and no on would have expected that the released film would go for re-censoring. One Antony Richard Jason was perturbed that the movie was given U/A certificate despite having a lot of double meaning dialogues.

Sometimes there seems to be a lot of ambiguity regarding why a film got an A rating or U/A. There is a lot of dispute regarding the interpretation of the rules. Antony is unhappy with his matinee idols film’s rating and hence referred for re-censoring the film after he took his seven-year old nephew to ‘Kabali’.
Mammootty played a police officer in the film. He has negative shades to his character and going by the attitude of his character, he uses cuss words and double meaning dialogues. Though this seems apt for his characterisation, an ‘A’ rating would have made the audiences think twice before taking their children to such films.
