Maruti’s name had been synonymous with making films which had adult comedy kinda of subjects. His first hero Mangam Srinivas balmed Maruti for making him mouth double meaning (boothu) dialogues.

Referring to those allegations, Maruti spoke at length about that issue in a recent interview. The director responded to the allegations on him by asking the actor if he had no common sense while mouthing the dialogues. He could have questioned the director if he wasn’t comfortable.
He furthered asked the young hero, “Will you wear an underwear if I say?” Maruti actually wanted the young hero to be his protege but the actor took the success of
Ee Rojullo’ to his head and went on accepting every movie that came his way and now he is wiped out of trace.
