The trailer of Anand Devarakonda’s second outing Middle Class Melodies is out. Much like his first, Dorasani, this too is fit in a rural to semi-urban sort of milieu. However, this one looks much more cheerful, heart-warming and belongs to the coming of the age formula.
Within the first few seconds, we get an idea of the plot. There is no surprise in it; it is the setting and the Guntur backdrop that offers the freshness. The different characters behaviour and quirks are what is expected to grab the attention of the audience. The trailer does an excellent job of providing a glimpse of those. Overall grounded quality is also seen with no over the top elements.
Telugu cinema has off late started making decent rooted flicks and Middle Class Melodies helmed by Vinod Ananthoju could be another welcome addition to the list. Vijay Devarakonda who has revealed the trailer has already given his approval. Could it be because it might have reminded his Pelli Choopulu days?
Anand Devarakonda and Varsha Bollamma are the main leads in the movie. However, it looks like it would be the supporting cast which will dominate the proceedings. Well, they have to if the film has to be engaging.
