Monumental achievement by two films this week!

We are talking about Nithin’s Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe and Sudhir Babu’s Prema Katha Chitram which completed 100 and 50 days respectively. Both these movies have banked up on their content than on the star power. And at the age where big movies are failing to run for 50 days with out deficits, these movies did it successfully. Both the movies are also biggest hits this year in terms of return of investment. Every one involved in the trade are benefited with these movies.

On the other side, it is becoming difficult for star’s movies to get break even in all the areas of release. It is disheartening to say except for Mirchi, no other movie in recent times had break even in all the areas of its release.
