Movie Pass in the US was once like a full meal served to the movie-goers who used to back away from watching newly released movies in the theatres due to the ticket prices. It gave a huge boost to small films and attracted families to theatres, big time.
It used to help small films collect a million easily and there are films like Nani’s MCA that were benefited by the subscription service. But then, as we all know, that Movie Pass finally crashed and went under bankruptcy.
Now, there is an update and even count down on Movie Pass’s website that it’s coming back. The present situation is different from the pre-COVID situation. We can’t expect the same model to work during these tough times in the US though it is back.
We have to wait and see how it’s going to work now and if has got any benefits for the Telugu movie-goers and fans. We hope that the Telugu Film Industry gets another boost with the help of Movie Pass and it’s the model it’s going to announce, soon.
