A massive Pre-release event of NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR – ‘Roar of RRR’ is happening in Mumbai right now. The concept of a Pre-release event is almost stale for a Telugu audience with the same cultural events and boring speeches. So, Rajamouli intelligently shifted it to Mumbai.
Outdoor events on a large scale with a huge attendance of fans are very rare in Bollywood. Initially, the team planned to arrange special trains for fans to reach Mumbai but the Maharashtra government did not allow that citing COVID rules. So, special buses have been arranged in coordination with the fans association.
The fans who have gone from here have reached the venue ‘Gurukul Ground Near Mumbai Film City’ and set the environment electrifying there. The ground is reverberating with the slogans of ‘Jai NTR’, ‘Jai Charan’, ‘CM NTR’, etc. This kind of fandom is never before seen in the streets of Mumbai earlier. So, it has come as completely novel for Bollywood.
Also, Hungama establishes NTR and Ram Charan as big stars. Hindi Cinema will not feel them as just some other heroes from the South and will get to know their real worth. The event is not telecast live and will be telecast later on some popular channel. The event will be edited to make it interesting and will be used extensively for Hindi promotions.
With the TV telecast, the event will reach the nook and corner of the Hindi belt. The Recorded telecast will also give a chance to edit interestingly and will also excite the Telugu audience whenever it is aired. Bollywood audiences will not only taste the raw action of Telugu Cinema, but they will also get a taste of the masala of Telugu fandom.
