‘Stalin’ director Murugadoss, who is currently awaiting the release of Hindi remake of Thupaki, titled “Holiday”, said that he plans to make a straight Hindi film soon. He said that It`s his long time desire to do a straight (original) Hindi film, even `Holiday` was supposed to be a direct film at first, but things didn`t fall in place, hence he did it in Tamil.
He said that his next venture in Hindi is for sure a straight film. Murugadoss’s southern films are a staple for filmmakers to adapt in different languages. When asked what attracted him to Bollywood, he said that Bollywood is the industry which takes the creation throughout the nation, in addition it`s the best way to carry our creation to the worldwide audience too, so he personally feels it`s the platform where we can reach worldwide audience.
Asked about why he always concentrates on making action films, Murugadoss said that he has always been fascinated by action movies since his childhood, it`s the genre which attracts from a small kid to an aged man, so he prefers to do action movies a lot.
