Contrary to many speculations that Naga Babu’s daughter would make her film dream debut with Akhil Akkineni, a new heroine came from Bollywood, Saiyesha Saigal. When Niharika was quizzed about her debut with Akhil in a popular cookery show, she says that she wasn’t ready for films then. She took in lighter vein that she couldn’t make her debut with the Akkineni scion.

On not acting in her father’s daily soap ‘Seetha Maalakshmi’: sooner or later, Niharika assures that she would act in films first, And then only in TV serials.But wouldn’t leave television for which she has become famous as an anchor who is chirpy and more quirky. Short films and television happened to her when everyone expected to make her debut into films.
She says, her cousin Ram Charan and his wife Upasana are more concerned about her career while her brother Varun Tej is more like pulling her leg. On Naga Babu’s eating habits, Niharika reveals that her father has been a vegetarian since 6 years, a conscious decision might be because of health consciousness.
Other information apart, her entry into films is something like a good news for mega fans to see a lady from Konidela family also coming to films.
