Naga Chaitanya is presently busy with the much awaited ‘Premam’ remake and some of the stills of Shruti Haasan in saree have leaked online already. The main actress Sai Pallavi who played the character Malar in the original couldn’t be brought on board for the remake ‘Majnu’.

But the makers had already signed for Anupama Parameshwaran who played one of the three main female leads in the film. Another actress from the original Madonna Sabastian is said to be brought on board for the movie. She also comes in the movie when there is an important twist. This is really good move.
However, those who watched the original are skeptical about ‘Malar’ character and if the actress roped in to play the character in the remake can recreate the magic. The actress Sai Pallavi, who played ‘Malar’ is earthly divine, naive and superb say the audiences who watched the original.
