‘Rangasthalam‘ has brought in the flavour of period dramas that have been only fewer before the arrival of Sukumar directorial. We are hearing about a couple of period dramas in the pre-production stage and senior director Priyadarshan’s period drama could be one of them.

Yes, Nagarjuna revealed in a recent interview that director Priyadarshan is working on a story on two captains in the backdrop of World War – 2. The Tollywood Manmadhudu didn’t give his consent yet as he has another project also in the offing with Dhanush. However, he didn’t decide upon Dhanush’s multi-starrer even.
There is also a rumour making rounds that legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwar Rao’s biopic is also in consideration. However, Nag sees no scope for a biopic on ANR’s life as there aren’t any downfalls to depict any conflict. Presently, Nag is waiting for the release of ‘Officer’ rather dispassionately.
