The protagonist’s narration begins with an observation on how society evaluates individuals based on their financial status. He talks about being labelled a loser during a period when he had nothing, before the very same world started calling him The King once he became wealthy. It is revealed that he is the mastermind behind a massive 50K Cr scam.
Nagarjuna is presented in an ultra-stylish avatar. He looks exceptionally suave and powerful. His effortless charisma, confident body language and exceptional screen presence give the character an unmistakable aura. The presentation makes it clear that this is a role built around the star’s strengths.
Ra Karthik has gone for a polished visual treatment, with the glimpse boasting impressive production values and a rich cinematic texture. The scale is evident in the visuals, while Devi Sri Prasad’s high-energy background score supplies the momentum expected from a major theatrical outing. His music adds intensity to the visuals and gives the proceedings a heightened, larger-than-life feel.
Most importantly, King 100 does not feel like a routine milestone announcement. The title, character setup and visual presentation collectively suggest a story with ambition. For Nagarjuna’s 100th film, the team appears to be aiming for something that carries both star value and narrative intrigue.
