AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is well known for his strategical approach to various issues and dealings with such intense foresight one would envy. After grabbing a couple of deals away from the fellow states, Naidu is all set to woo the mobile manufacturer Samsung to set up its third unit in AP.
While Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh are giving tough competition to AP, Naidu is planning ahead to woo the manufacturers with much more benefits than those offered by the competing States. So AP has to offer more tax benefits and land concession rates than those quoted by Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
Besides Samsung, AP government is also going for talks with Water World technologies, China-based international mobile maker. While the company wants to make use of PM Modi’s ‘Make in India’ drive and set up a manufacturing unit in India, AP government wants to show a suitable place for the company in India and in turn competing with Uttarakhand.
If Naidu can really swing the two deals in AP’s favour then there would be more opportunities for youth in the state and in a way provide platform for various service oriented job opportunities in the technical world.
