Nandi Awards Winners – Legend Odd One Out

The Nandi Awards for the year 2014, 2015, and 2016 are out and with the Andhra Pradesh government has made the Awards up to date. The list featuring the winners of three years is on predictable lines, which isn’t that surprising. However, few particular losers and one winner is standing out as the odd one.

The biggest one to stick out of the list is Best Film Award for Legend for the year 2014. It is a shocker of a decision and one that is making the most noise. The reason for that is 2014 is the same year the last true-blue classic from a big star was released. It is none other than Manam starring the three generations of Akkineni’s.

While the snubbing of Manam is blatantly apparent, there is another one the following year, but not on the same level. It is that of Jr NTR failing to get for his bravura performance in Temper. People in general and fans, in particular, are soft on it as the star has been given the Best Actor Award for 2016.

Overall, apart from few anomalies like the ones mentioned above, the Nandi Awards have been by and large alright with some well deserving winners. We will be updating the complete list of winners here shortly.
