Netflix has been on a rampant mode when it comes to acquiring Telugu films. The OTT giant had already bagged two of the recent Telugu biggies Salaar and Guntur Kaaram.
Netflix has announced that they have bagged the two of Nandamuri heroes’ upcoming films – Devara and NBK109.
Netflix tweeted a little while ago that they have acquired the digital streaming rights of Jr NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara and also Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ongoing film, NBK 109.
While Devara is a prospective pan-Indian film, NBK109 is a rooted Telugu potboiler. The OTT giant should’ve shelled out a fancy price for these two biggies that are in production.
The OTT giant announced that they hold the OTT rights of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film under Gowtam Tinnanuri’s direction as well. They own the rights of Tillu Square also. It is evident that the OTT player in betting heavily on the Telugu market.
