‘Bujjigadu’ actress Sanjjanaa Galrani has been in the judicial custody along with another Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi since they were arrested in substance abuse case after CCB searched their houses officially.
Though the families of both the actresses tried for the bail, they couldn’t get it and they have to wait till the next hearing in the court and that would be on 24th September. Since their arrest, they have been interrogated by Central Crime Branch.
It’s not just the two actresses, many others in the Kananda Film Industry are said to be involved with drug peddlers and this present investigation has become crucial to know the whereabouts of others who have been involved.
Presently, they are housed in Central Jail waiting for bail so that they can at least get some temporary relief.
