Right from the time Akkineni’s ‘Manam’ came to theaters, fans of other star heroes started asking for a family movie like ‘Manam’. Senior actor Naresh told the audiences to think ‘Sri Sri’ as ‘Ghattamaneni Manam’.

‘Sri Sri’ is a recent movie starring superstar Krishna in the lead. While Mahesh Babu gave the voice over, Naresh reprised an important role and Sudheer Babu made a cameo appearance. It is a different issue whether the movie was successful or not.
It’s very unlikely that there would be a family film from the superstar’s family. He didn’t completely rule out the possibility If the combinations are worked out properly, a ‘Ghattamaneni Manam’ might be possible. As for now, ‘Sri Sri’ must be considered their family movie according to Naresh.
