This Sankranthi came with three straight Telugu films and one dubbed movie ‘Petta‘. Going by the public talk and also the opinion of the critics, none of the films has got a blockbuster talk. We aren’t talking about the box-office collections or the commercial winners but about the critical reception of the Sankranthi releases.
Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama‘ has got a disaster talk while the other movies are running with an average talk. In the case of ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, the talk is positive from the critics and the social media but it is unable to pull the crowds to the theatres because of the biopic is filled with less dramatic moments. ‘Petta’ is running with an average talk. If not for the theatre issues, the movie would have done better than it has been doing now.
‘F2: Fun & Frustration‘ that was expected to be a fun ride missed the golden chance of turning out to be a total entertainer this festive season. Vintage Venky was back but the director missed the same in the second half. Overall, none of the movies is going to be blockbuster and we’ll have to wait to see which film will emerge as the commercial winner for buyers.
