Twitter is a hostile and unforgiving place for a few individuals. Sadly for popular Bollywood producer, Karan Johar, he is on the upper decker of the list of Indian celebrities who are always in the firing line on Twitter.
Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, there has been a whole lot of negativity on Karan. The boycott batch in Bollywood has been calling for a boycott on all of Karan’s films. And incidentally, most of Karan’s new releases, including Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger have bombed at the box office.
Cut to now, Karan has announced that he is leaving Twitter. He took to Twitter to announce the same.
“Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!” Karan tweeted a short while ago.
Karan had been facing a lot of backlash on Twitter as a section of netizens have been claiming that he is a nepotism merchant and it is time he is boycotted from Bollywood. Many used to directly tag and abuse him. In view of this, Karan has quit Twitter for good.
