Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Phil Salt has gone viral over a screenshot claiming that he took a dig at the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The reply has caught the attention of IPL fans, but there is a twist to the story.
It all started after the CSK social media account reportedly shared a throwback video of Virat Kohli’s expensive over against Albie Morkel in IPL 2012. Soon after, a screenshot claiming to show Salt’s reply started circulating on social media.
The alleged reply takes a dig at CSK’s league finishes and mentions Tim David’s 30 run over. It also includes a line asking the CSK admin to update their IP address. The comment quickly became a talking point among fans of both franchises.
Despite, the screenshot has been described as morphed, and there is no confirmed evidence that Salt actually posted the reply. The posts circulating online do not establish that the comment came from his account.
For now, fans should treat the screenshot with caution. Until the original post or a reliable confirmation emerges, the alleged exchange cannot be considered a genuine reply from the RCB batter.
