Thanks to RRR, the rivalry between NTR and Ram Charan’s fandoms got aggravated rather than subside. This is the opposite of what was expected earlier. The clash is mainly regarding which hero got better part in the film and who sustained a bigger reach later.
A yardstick to determining the same would be the box office numbers of NTR and Charan’s immediate next films Devara and Game Changer respectively.
As for Devara, the film is going well at the box office by hitting $2M presales in the USA and the early advance bookings trend in the Telugu market is also very good. The full-fledged bookings will open on the 25th of this month and this would give a clearer picture.
The foreseeable trend is that Devara is going to post mighty numbers in the domestic and also the USA market. NTR is clearly in the ascendency here as he is registering massive upswing in terms of bookings.
This makes it all the more tougher for Ram Charan’s fans now as Devara’s numbers will be a benchmark for Game Changer. Ideally, Mega fans would want Game Changer to beat Devara’s tally at the box office.
But by the early swing, Devara is going to be a huge deal while Game Changer will have to punch real strong to better. the same. While Charan’s box office pull can’t be questioned, the lack of director’s efforts are key here.
For now, NTR is making it big with Devara and we have to see if Charan can better the same this December with Game Changer.
