It is known that there have been reports that Jr NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara wouldn’t be releasing in theaters on the 5th of April, as announced earlier. The delay in production meant a postponement of the release plan.
Today, Jr NTR took to Twitter to announce that Devara has been postponed to a later date and released a new poster with the new date imprinted on it.
The newly released poster confirms that Devara will be hitting the theaters on the 10th of October this year. The film will arrive in theaters on the occasion of Dasara this year.
October 10th is Thursday, followed by the Dasara holiday on Saturday. With the Dasara holidays advantage in place, Devara is looking at a very prospective date in 10th October.
Moreover, NTR is no stranger to Dasara releases as his Aravinda Sametha was also released during the 2018 Dasara season and went on a merry run at the box office. Six years later, he is arriving with Devara during the same Dasara season.
