Maddock Films are trying to build a huge castle of Horror-comedies and the next one in the list is Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s starrer Thama.
As the film is left with a couple of shoots in Mumbai and Ooty, makers are aiming for a Diwali 2025 release. If we take a closer look at Thama, it has a fascinating rollercoaster in store for the fans.

Being another one of the Maddock’s Horror-comedy universe, the film has already a great momentum with the most recent Stree 2 release.
The horror-comedy genre has been buzzing around the nation with fans generating a lot of hype and excitement for the genre, which ultimately benefits the upcoming release of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s starrer.

If the story looks compelling with optimum VFX and performances, the film has all the potential to collect over 500 crores at the box office, however there is a huge roadblock in front of Thama come this Diwali.
It is none other than Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu’s untitled film which was supposed to be Aashiqui’s third installment. The early teaser for the film generated a lot of hype and people want to invest their time into a musical romance once again after all these years.

So the battlefield is set, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thama needs to be phenomenal enough to compete against Kartik Aaryan’s musical romance this Diwali. As Diwali revs up for a huge clash this year, it remains to be seen if any other huge project joins the festive clash.
