Nithiin Thammudu

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi‘s Thandel was supposed to release for Sankranti but Allu Aravind do not want competition with Ram Charan (Gamechanger) and pulled out. Family reasons played a role in this decision more than anything else.

There are reports that Thandel is releasing for Mahashivaratri in February. The release date may be announced in the first Pressmeet of the film that will take place tomorrow.

Just a day before the Pressmeet and announcement, Dil Raju announced the release of his ‘Thammudu‘ starring Nithin for Shivaratri.

Thandel is a Big Budget film and needs a solo release. The film badly needs that advantage after losing the Sankranti advantage. But Dil Raju did not allow it.

Incidentally, Dil Raju will also benefit from Thandel not releasing for Sankranthi. Even though Gamechanger is a Star Vehicle, Naga Chaitanya in a different script and with Sai Pallavi, Thandel will definitely have its own traction if released for Sankranthi.

But Dil Raju is not in a mood to reciprocate to Thandel‘s favor. We will have to see what Allu Aravind will decide from here!
