Every year, every film enthusiast eagerly waits to see which film gets an Oscar nomination, and which film ultimately gets this coveted award. This year too, several films were nominated and the winners’ list has been announced today. Nomadland stood out by winning in 3 major categories, while Sir Anthony Hopkins got his second Oscar after 29 years. While a lot of people thought that the late Chadwick Boseman – who passed away last year due to cancer – would win the best actor Oscar for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, this did not come to be. On the other hand, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which was made with a mind-bending concept, won the Oscar for best visuals. Here is the full list of the winners for this year:
