Though Mahesh’s movie didn’t do well in domestic trade, it got huge appreciation from the overseas audiences, especially US. Commercially, it did great business in OS and praises poured in for the director for his intelligent thought process. Sukumar openly admitted the role of overseas audiences for being fortunate to be getting big films even after flops.
His recent film ‘Naannaku Prematho’ is also doing extremely well in overseas and is soon going to touch 2 million mark in its total run in overseas. Though the updated figures are awaited, as per the available reports, NKP stands at $1.4 million plus. An overwhelming figure indeed!
